I’ve published a few horror, sci-fi, and literary pieces, and I’m excited to announce my debut, Spiked will be published in 2024! Spiked takes readers inside the mind of an insecure beer chemist who tries to exact revenge on the company bully and accidentally kills the boss. Oops. Spiked is darkly funny, gross, and tragic.
I have the pleasure of sharing my writing journey with an extraordinary group of humans. We call ourselves The Little Red Writing Hoods. Mary is a Nebula winner and fencer who adores cats. Laura hails from Texas and writes for CoolCleveland. Cyndi writes us all to shame, with eight published books to her credit. Our newest member, Rebecca, is the features editor for Parhelion Literary Magazine and blogs at Rust Belt Girl. Our newest member, Jeremy Jusek, is the Poet Laureate of Parma, Ohio, and host of the fabulous podcast, OPA’s Poetry Spotlight. What about me? I wear black, always. People need stability in life, especially writers. And black goes with everything.
Any poor decision I make can be handily blamed on having my head cut open in 2018. As skilled as neurosurgeons are, once you shift that stuff around, you’re not the same. Not really. Sometimes I write about my debacles, but mostly I wrap them in fiction and change critical pieces of information.
